"Today was my first visit, but it will not be my last. We were greeted with big smiles, friendly service, and some of the best food I have ever eaten. The Sunday plate lunch options were plentiful, and after changing our minds 100 times, our party of 3 decided to split a catfish and a chicken plate. Spoiler alert...we all 3 got stuffed and still went home with a full box of food! 3 big pieces of catfish, fries, lima beans, loaded mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake for plate #1. Two pieces of fried chicken, chicken tetrazzini, loaded mashed potatoes, and sweet potato casserole for plate #2. There wasn't one single thing I could complain about. We loved our experience and hope everyone gets an opportunity to try this incredible food."

"This was my first time visiting. It was very hot in the restaurant because they don't have proper air conditioning. The food was okay but definitely not worth nearly $20 for a plate. I had the turkey wing which was just the flap. The squash taste like frozen squash and the cabbage greens had no flavor. The service was very slow although the restaurant was nearly empty. They said we came behind the rush. Not sure what that had to do with anything because they know they have a rush and should be prepared."

"If you ready to die and go to heaven with your belly full then you found the place. I got the Beans and Rice, Mac & Cheese and fried chicken. It was thr best meal I have had in a very long time. The lady at the counter well very friendly and good came out hot and quickly. Please do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, run to here. If you dont fall in love then you dont know true love. Get the greens too. "

"I'm a Louisiana girl, born and raised (transplanted to NE Arkansas). So I know red beans & rice & fried pork chops! The food at Marlo's was absolutely delicious, fresh cooked, seasoned perfectly, and reminiscent of my childhood. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We will definitely stop there again anytime we find ourselves going even remotely close to Canton!!"

"We found out about this place from our friends who recently moved to Mississippi. They raved about this place so we had to try it, plus it had the same name I do so that was a bonus. From my first bite I was in love. We ordered the ribs platter and catfish. Words can't express how delicious the food was. Everything was served fresh and hot. The ribs were tender and the sauce was perfect. My husband wanted to bottle it up right there and take it with us. The catfish taste like they just pulled it from the water. Seasoned perfectly and full of meat. I didn't want it to end. I definitely recommend this place and will be sure to visit next time we visit our friends."

"1st time eating here and I was not disappointed! The fried catfish filets, cabbage and fried okra are a must have!! The blackberry cobbler was also delicious! We will definitely be back!"
